[ Riou sets about getting ready, then, including his dogs. Smith and Wesson are going to come with them. They're good diggers and burrowers, so if they run across some good rodents along the way, they can hunt them. He also prepares a large empty duffle for carrying flowers, some clippers, and other necessary tools for their journey.
The door is open when he gets there, and Doppo is going to be greeted by Smith and Wesson happily coming over to sniff his feet on either side of him. ]
[ doppo's startled when smith and wesson come out to greet him -- they're the best dogs! he relaxes quickly when it's obvious that riou hasn't just sicced the dogs on him to chase him off. he's bending over and easing into a smile, holding his hands out to them for them to sniff, petting them, too!
he's dressed casually but neatly, wearing a backpack and comfortable shoes for the trek ahead! ]
[ They accept the pets happily, and Smith gives him a bark while Wesson stays quiet. Riou has two leashes that are hooked to the side of his backpack, but he doesn't put them on it. They'll walk with them and stay near, the leashes are just if there are disruptions or someone who will get mad at them for having the dogs off the leash. ]
